It's Only Okay Because It Sucks

The remake of THE WICKER MAN (recently released on DVD) is laughably inept. The definition of a director working completely outside his comfort zone. (His cheap scares make me believe Neil LaBute has never even watched a horror movie before.)

The film would also be completely forgettable - another of Nic Cage's eccentric failures - if not for one moment of appalingly bad taste. It occures when Cage confronts Leelee Sobieski, and I'll let the pictures tell the story...
